Having a successful 22 year career working for Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies, Vu Nguyen founded HVN in 2021. HVN is a building company specialising in the development and construction of commercial and residential projects. Our expertise in project and design management provides a seamless service to DESIGN, DEVELOP and DELIVER. Our goal is to deliver high end builds throughout Sydney, focusing on the Greater Western Sydney regions of Campbelltown, Camden, Wollondilly and Liverpool. Vu Nguyen | Founder & Director
Vu is the founding Director of HVN Pty Ltd. He has successfully completed major building projects with a combined value of over $750 million across multiple sectors of residential, commercial and mixed use projects. In the start of his career as a Project Administrator, he gained valuable site experience as well as developing his own craft for commercial management. With a strong skill set and the sound knowledge in commercial and construction management, it provided an opportunity to lead his own team as a Project Manager. Thriving in his new role of leadership and managerial responsibilities his team successfully delivered a wide range of commercial and residential projects throughout Sydney.
Establishing relationships with stakeholders and earning the respect of the industry, he advanced as a Senior Project Manager for a national Industrial Builder and further progressing to a General Manager for a tier 1 contracting business. These roles provided new challenges where he was able to develop his business acumen and niche for commercial fit out. Despite the success and having a well-rounded career there was a desire to understand a development holistically. To be part of the process in achieving Development Consents through to delivering a final product for the individual buyers and end users.
In 2014, Vu decided to join a privately owned Sydney development company, where he managed complex Class 2 building sites. His involvement in the development approval and ownership of the design allowed him to achieve the initial phase of a development. He continued his role to lead the construction teams coordinating the expectations of Authorities, Consultants, Sub contractors and Suppliers. These developments often included the design and construction of parklands, footpaths, roads and traffic signals, commonly known as the Public Domain. To be able to manage an entire development in all phases is a testament and strength that Vu brings to HVN. He has successfully delivered high end apartments in the municipalities of the City of Sydney, Hornsby Shire and Bayside City.
